Who are just4specs?
We are mainly a family run business with no outside investors with over 40 years experience between us. It started out with a lens manufacturing lab back in the early 80s when my father took over his family company and turned it into his own business. Now being third generation we decided to move with the times and become a young fresh online designer company with traditional family values.
Through out the years the relationship between the two ventures has blossomed, resulting in us hiring a large optical team consisting of dispensing opticians, fully qualified lab technicians and optometrists that are more than able and happy to offer high quality spectacle advice to meet all your needs every time.
We are able to offer you the low prices that we do because we don't have the same overheads as most high street shops. We source our own goods, some of which are exclusively to just4specs such as our Athenia range.
By having our own lab it allows us to have complete control over all in house jobs such as:
1. Surfacing - the manufacturing of Varifocals, Bifocals and other Lenses
2. Glazing - all Single Vision, Bifocals and Varifocals lenses into frames.
By having this equipment to hand means that the delivery of your new optical glasses is quicker than most competitors. As you would expect we only use the highest quality frames and lenses which comply with all British and European standards.
We are an approved lens manufacturing laboratory by some of the top lens producers in the world manufactures such as:
1. Kodak
2. Essilor UK
3. Hoya
4. American Optical
Our aim is to provide high quality glasses at the lowest prices. All our frames and lenses are quality checked before being sent out to you. All goods over £70 will be sent out Special Delivery FREE of charge.
We also offer you the opportunity to come to our showroom and meet some of our friendly staff! Come down and try on our unique and large range of frames! Make sure you are happy with the fit, shape and colour of your new glasses. Please remember we do not guarantee that your fame will currently be available in the showroom but we guarantee to have something similar to suit all your needs. We stock over 300 frames that are not featured on the website!! Our company promise to offer you the best service without excuses guaranteeing you top quality product's all the time.
If you are not happy with your spectacles and send them back using our returns form within 14 days, WE WILL GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK!! Refunds apply to all frames and standard lenses. Terms and conditions apply.
We are also happy to say all our frames at just4specs come with a FREE one year manufacturer's warranty. This is available from the original manufacturers and covers any manufacturing defects. In the unfortunate event of your frame needing to be repaired, please send your glasses in along with the returns form so that, one of our experienced lab technicians can assess whether or not we will either repair or replace the defective frame at our discretion. You will need to cover the delivery cost and please allow two to three working weeks for processing.
The warranty is invalidated if the defect is caused by misuse, neglect, tampering or incorrect adjustment. It is also invalidated if unauthorised persons carry out any alterations or repairs.
